A chocolate gift should be complimentary. It shouldn't cost the earth so we charge postage per item. You might just want to get a few bars of chocolate delivered as a get well message to an unwell friend so why pay the same delivery charge as someone who is ordering chocolates for 150 guests? So instead of a flat delivery cost, delivery is charged by weight.
